Possum Majik was founded in 2025 by an eclectically talented couple with over 15 years experience in their chosen creative fields. They have now combined their individual business passions in pursuit of making their dreams a reality together.

Meet the Co-Founders

Darcy has been in the construction industry for over 20 years, his 4 year carpentry apprenticeship kicked off his passion for creating and constructing, this set the foundation of this career in his chosen trade. He has acquired a diverse array of teaching methods and adjusts his teaching style to best suit you! While mentoring and working alongside several apprentices during his time as an on the tools foreman and apprentice coordinator role with Phoenix Carpentry and building, Darc has taken delight in producing in house training workshops. He takes great pleasure in seeing his apprentices thrive in the personalised learning environment he created for them. 

Darcy has also spent considerable time in joinery workshops, and takes immense pride in his eye for detail and fine finishes in joinery and any timber work for that matter!

Rachel studied a Bachelor of Theatre Arts at USQ and has worked as a freelance artist and small business owner since 2015. Her first business, Clarified Designs, included handmade batches of aromatherapy necklaces, body products, hula hoops and hula hoop dance classes. While teaching a hula hoop class at Rio Rhythmics in West End, Brisbane (2018) a student by the name of Hillary Wall attended. The two instantly clicked and Rachel began her journey as an artist for Cork & Chroma. A role which Rachel still savours to this day. Rachel was late diagnosed with ADHD and is passionate about creating a neurodivergent friendly atmosphere wherever she goes.
